Your forum can be set up however you want it to be including access, permissions and functionality.  You may not want non-registered visitors to post to your forum, you may want them to register before being granted access.  To take this ides one step further, you may want to make a particular forum only accessible to users you have given specific rights to.  Other users and visitors would not be able to see or post tot he forum, making it totally private.

 
All Forums come witht he ability to enable or disable Avatars and Member Profiles.  These are information or images associated with the user which is displayed on that particular users posts.

 
Our Forums have multiple levels. You can have groups of forums, forums within the groups and multiple topic and posts within those forums.  This makes our forums very versatile for everyones needs.

Members can subscribe to a ‘thread’ and receive email notifications when someone replies or adds to that thread.  Users must then login to the website to reply to the thread.

Your community administrator can add new discussions within your forum.  This is a good way to organise a forum effectively.
